Black Rims – Styles and Sizes

Black rims are becoming more popular all the time although they only work with some truck colors. Composed primarily of fine-grained magnetite grains (5-50 nm diameter) bound in a fe-rich carbonate matrix, black rims are cool and the right choice, but as long as there is some chrome in there like on the lip or a bit on the spokes.

Black rims are the norm for 4 wheeling. Black steel rims that can take a beating and keep on going. I don’t know what the smallest rim size you can run with your trucks brake setup. 15″ would allow the best selection of rims and tires, but 16″ would be your 2nd best bet. Those are the most popular/common black steel rim designs.
